An Often Forgotten Vietnamese Dessert Beverage
➜ OVERVIEW
Half Mau is a new brand of Che, an often forgotten about Vietnamese dessert beverage. The brand seeks to gain visibility on supermarket shelves where Che is often glossed over by people who are unaware of its existence.
Traditional Che consists of mung beans, kidney beans, tapioca, jelly, and fruits all in sweet and delicious coconut milk.
➜ APPROACH
To appeal to the target market of 16–28 year old Americans, it was important that the brand is inviting and not intimidating. A logo and label was designed to be playful and exciting.
The glass bottle for the beverage was wrapped with fun illustrations and colors. A paper wrapping on the lid of each bottle finishes the package.
